Our Story
The Vinyl Countdown is a family-run store, driven by passion for vinyl and live music.
A passion that began like so many others: sitting in a bedroom as angsty teenagers, wondering how much louder the volume could go before our parents banged on the door.
Following the restrictions brought upon us by the Covid pandemic, we decided to enjoy our newfound freedom by launching our live music events business, Somer Sets Promotions Ltd.
The vinyl countdown is an exciting expansion of that business, allowing us to share our love of music every day of the week.
We connect listeners of all ages through our diverse and ever-growing collection of great vinyl.
All of our albums are brand new often rereleased and remastered for a modern era of music.
